We had auspiciously scheduled a sound bath for the soul on February 18 which was also Maha Shivaratri 2023.

Blessed Maha Shivaratri to all! This sacred day celebrates the convergence of Shiva and Shakti — the masculine and feminine energies which balance the world.

Unlike other Indian festivals which are more celebratory Maha Shivratri is a solemn affair — marked with internal reflection and introspection.

the holy family of Shiva

According to the Shaivism tradition this is the night when Shiva performs his heavenly dance of creation, preservation and destruction.

Other traditions believe this is the night Shiva married his consort, Parvati. For others it is an annual occasion to overcome past sins and return to a virtuous path to reach the mystical Mount Kailasha and attain self-liberation.

sound bath for the soul

Our event was greatly augmented by the day’s Maha Shivaratri energies. We had three sound healing sessions — a sound bath, a sonic immersion, and a vibratory cleansing.

Leaving us all refreshed, revitalized, and attuned to life. Come join us for another session on March 11.
